The Radxa Rock5 Model A is a single-board computer that is roughly the size and form of a Raspberry Pi 4, but it features a faster CPU and support for more memory. It is a credit card-sized single-board PC with the RK3588S and up to 16GB RAM.
The board, also known as the ROCK 5A, is anticipated to start shipping by the second quarter of 2023, according to Radxa. When the board goes on sale in a few months, those who reserve one from AllnetChina now with a $5 deposit will be able to save $30 off the board's starting retail price of roughly $99.

Though I assume the major attraction is that the form factory is near enough to the Raspberry Pi Model B that it may be used as a drop-in replacement in some circumstances, the Model A has a more compact design that might make it more suited for applications where space is at a premium.
Four ARM Cortex-A76 CPU cores operating at up to 2.4 GHz, four Cortex-A55 cores operating at up to 1.8 GHz, Mali-G610 MC4 graphics, and a neural processing unit with up to 6 TOPS of hardware-accelerated AI performance and support for 8K/60fps video playback are all included in the Rockchip RK3588S processor.
The board has LPDDR4X memory, and there are three distinct configurations you may choose from:
- Rock5 Model A 4GB RAM USD99 -> after discount USD69
- Rock5 Model A 8GB RAM USD 119 -> after discount USD89
- Rock5 Model A 16GB RAM USD159 -> after discount USD129
A fan connector and an RTC battery connector are among the other little extras.
When using both HDMI ports and the MIPI-DSIC display connection, the ROCK 5A supports up to three screens, according to Radxa. Additionally, you may save data on an eMMC module, microSD card, or M.2 E Key.
