The Eduponics Mini v2.0 Smart Agricultural Board with MCU ESP32

With the help of this ESP32-based, next-generation smart-agriculture IoT kit, you can manage your plants.

The Eduponics Mini v2.0 Smart Agricultural Board with MCU ESP32

The open-source ESP32 microcontroller serves as the foundation of the Eduponics Mini v2 platform. This IoT board has necessary sensors for agricultural applications that measure temperature, humidity, soil moisture, etc. The Eduponics Mini v2 has Grove connections and IO extension pins for extra peripherals and Wi-Fi/BLE connectivity.

The ESP32 module used in this product appears to be the ESP32-WROVER-B that was recently spotted on the gCore GUI platform. This ESP32 module has 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and 8MB of RAM.

Support for "HY-2.0, Grove-compatible water-level, soil-moisture, and pump interfaces, as well as 4-pin I2C sensors and an RTC BM8563 module with crystal oscillator to remedy prior hardware issues" are further improvements.

A waterproof soil moisture sensor, a four-channel valve extension board, an upgraded Eduponics Mini extension board with four relay modules, an ADS1115 ADC chip for analog readings, an MCP23017 IO chipset, connected directly to four relays, and more Grove connectors are all available from the developer company STEMinds.

Additionally, STEMinds offered tables that contrasted the Eduponics Mini board's characteristics with those of other comparable systems.
