A small Elkhart Lake SBC with a Celeron N6210 or Pentium J6426 CPU is called UP Squared 2.

The UP Squared 2 is a small single-board computer with up to 16GB RAM, 64GB eMMC memory, 4K capable HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, and more. It is powered by either an Intel Celeron N6210 or Pentium J6426 "Elkhart Lake" CPU.

A small Elkhart Lake SBC with a Celeron N6210 or Pentium J6426 CPU is called UP Squared 2.

The UP Squared 2, which is a little smaller than two business cards, is an improvement on the UP Squared SBC, which was first launched in 2016 and used an Intel Celeron N3350 or Pentium N4200 "Apollo Lake" CPU. The new board offers essentially the same features, with the exception that the dual HDMI ports have been replaced by a single HDMI port and a DisplayPort connector, the mini PCIe slot has been replaced by an M.2 NVMe socket, the Altera FPGA has been removed, and the new system has better performance requirements for the CPU and GPU.

According to AAEON, the UP Squared 2 is compatible with Linux, Windows 10, and Windows IoT Core (Ubuntu, Yocto). A large heatsink installed beneath the board allows for fanless operation, and the manufacturer guarantees long-term support with supplies still accessible in 2035. Since the layout and ports are mostly the same as on the original UP Squared, the paperwork and instructions will remain the same.

UP Squared V2 is the successor to our UP Squared series

Pre-orders for the AAEON UP Square 2 start at $161 for the Celeron N6210 model with 2GB RAM and 32GB eMMC flash and go as high as $323 for the variant with a Pentium J6426 CPU, 64GB eMMC flash, and 16GB RAM. A 256GB M.2 SSD, a WiFI module, and the power supply are available as extras. There is also a UP Square 2 Edge full micro PC with enclosure in development, but there isn't any further information at this moment. For further information, see the product page as well.
