Eyes on Edge: tinyML Vision Challenge 2021

Create innovative new computer vision applications with tinyML and win prizes and recognition from the tinyML Foundation! Win prizes worth up to $6,000 or more!

The task at hand

For the first time, the tinyML Foundation has opened a competition for developers around the world, challenging them to create advanced applications for edge devices using low-power machine learning and computer vision.
Eyes on Edge: tinyML Vision Challenge! with tinyML Foundation
Tiny machine learning (tinyML) is a rapidly growing area of machine learning technology that includes hardware, algorithms, and software that can perform on-device sensor data analytics at extremely low power, usually in the mW range and below, allowing a variety of always-on use cases and targeting battery-operated devices.

Hackster.io is challenging developers worldwide to create a proof of concept for an industry-grade problem using computer vision on embedded systems. Any embedded vision hardware platform and software system can be included in submissions. Battery-operated, ultra-low-power ventures get bonus points.
Models deployed on hardware
Models running on OpenMV Cam H7, Arduino Portenta Vision Shield, Himax WE-I Plus, Arducam Pico4ML, and Raspberry Pi are ushering in a new age of solutions that can reliably recognise and distinguish what they see across a wide range of workloads:

Choose from one of the suggested categories, or create your own niche. Points will be awarded to submissions based on their ability to solve a problem in a specific industry.
